a few more portrait lego mosaics on rush order

Its thursday evening, hoping to get my priority package tomorrow to get started on the latest two commissioned mosaic lego art portraits. 20 x 20 inch designs seem to be popular the last several months. Pet art is the subject of another mosaic to be done as a holiday gift purchased by a customer. I took the original picture and turned it into a mosaic design, .... check back in the next day or so for an update.

A quick turnaround with this design, it needs to ship to Australia and arrive in 15 days... yiks... Hopefully the USPS can get it there. A few more pictures added as I was completing the custom lego mosaic. Black and yellow are the primary two colors used in this design. THese colors show nicely together.

My latest commissioned piece is a 20 x 20 design, generally I start with mounting the baseplates (eash the standard 10 x 10 green plates) on a piece of 1/4 plywood. I have several days to get this design done, I am currently working on the holiday rush. Generally , I start with a photo and crop it till i get an image I like, then convert it to an image i can work with. You can visit some of my designs at motion5.etsy.com

Its been some time since I have updated this blog, I have continued to design mosaics and have been successfully bringing new art to the marketplace, I will continue to post my new lego mosaic projects as they happen.
